Hue Ancient Capital

Hue - the 19th century capital located in the central Vietnam is well-known for its monuments and architecture which have earned it a place as a UNESCO World Culture Heritage Site. If you track along the Perfume River you will discover the ancient Citadel, the Tombs of several Kings and Thien Mu pagoda


At 7:00am depart from Pham Gia Homestay to Hue on the way stopping on the top of spectacular Hai Van Pass for a quick rest and picture taking. Around 9:30am reach Hue and visit Tu Duc Tomb.

Relax over lunch for an hour then take 2 hours to discover Hue’s Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1804 to 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. After that, drive along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda - the largest pagoda in Hue and the official symbol of the city. At 15:30 return to the homestay arriving approximately 18:30.
